Moab, Utah and Colorado Dual Sport Tours- August 2009

August 6-9 and 13-16

This annual MotoVentures dual sport tour starts and ends in Grand Junction. On the first day we’ll ride to Moab on routes featuring both fast dirt roads and slow 4wd roads including a beautiful and wet river crossing. This day covers lots of ground, elevation changes, and scenery ranging from high desert cactus bordered trails to mountain pine tree shaded two-track. On day two and three we’ll ride on many famous 4wd roads and single track trails around Moab. This is when we really get to explore this unique and amazing area and discover why it’s called an off-roaders paradise. We’ll explore more around Moab as we leave town and proceed through the surrounding National Forest to another good night’s rest at another beautiful mountain resort. On our final day we’ll enjoy some classic Colorado single-track riding as we work our way back to Grand Junction. This scenic and fun multi-day tour features some of the best of both Utah and Colorado riding, a real must do ride for avid dirt bike riders.
